Ground Press Books

Trade in your gently used books at Ground Press for cash. We’re looking for trending titles, popular authors, and classics.

Drop by during our trade-in times or schedule an appointment to give your books a second life!

How It Works

1. Book Condition & Selection: We accept gently used books in great condition—no tears, stains, excessive markings, or damaged spines.

2. Trade Options:

    • We offer flat purchase prices of up to $5 per book, based on condition and projected resale value.

    • Our bookstore lead will review your books on the spot, which takes 20-30 minutes. Please feel free to browse the store or enjoy a drink while you wait.

    • Community Donations: Donate books that don’t meet our criteria, and we’ll find them a new home through local community partnerships. We also accept donations for resale at our store if they meet our criteria.

3. Drop Off Process:

    • Book Drop-Off Times: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, or by appointment via our contact form.

    • You can drop off up to 20 books per visit, and we’ll let you know the offer within the same visit. If we need more than a few minutes to go through books, we ask that you remain in the store and enjoy a drink on the house.

Final Decisions: All decisions regarding book acceptance are made by our bookstore lead and are final. If we don’t accept your books, you can choose to take them home, or we can donate or recycle them on your behalf.
